Every Sunday there is an Acoustic Music Session at the Vaults Bar, 64 High Street, Stony Stratford, MILTON KEYNES MK11 1AQ starting at 12.30pm.
Both The Song Loft and the Vaults Sunday Session were established by Matt Armour in the 1970s.
Now in its 45th year the Vaults Sunday Session can lay claim to be the longest continually running music session in England. Even during lockdown the session continued, taking place virtually, then in the open air before returning to its spiritual home – The Vaults Bar.
In any one session you will hear English, Irish, French and American tunes and songs – even the occasional pop song – played acoustically – so anything goes.
We play “around the room” so you don’t need to book in advance – but if you want to be sure of getting a good seat it would be best to arrive early.
Musicians, singers and non-performers welcome – and it’s free!
